Jason David Frank (JDF) started with advanced skills in martial arts getting his foot in the world of acting. As the infamous Green Ranger, JDF's popularity would sky rocket with the undeniable success of the show.

When his character lost his powers and left the show, it was never intended that JDF would return to PR. Rather, he was to become the leader of another Saban show of the time, VR Trooper, as Ryan Steele. However, JDF did return as the Green Ranger and went on to lead the team as the first White Ranger the following year (1994). It'd also mark his movie debut in 1995 as "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie" hit the big screens.

He'd continue his reign as leader of the Rangers for two more years (now in red spandex) until he finally sought after different projects. After all, he does have a family and helps to run a karate studio of his own.
