This 5"5' blue beauty as always had the acting spirit. Before her professional training with the National Youth Drama, young Ms. Martin made up and directed plays in her very living room. Since then, her resume' continues to grow strong with the addition of various roles on the stage, television and even film.
Before doning her blue spandex suit, Sally was in the 1987 film "The Facts of Life Down Under" playing "Gween Pitt," then later reappeared in the film world in the 2002 "Murder in Greenwhich" as "Charity Foster."
As a guest star in television, Sally appeared on the small screen in the 1985 "Edge of Darkness" series as "Polly Pelham" in the episode "Northmoor."
But 2002 was the big year for our blue beauty. Playing "Gemma" on a show entitled "The Strip," she got five episodes under her belt; "Epiphany," "The Morning After," "Get Over It," "The Farewell F&%$" and "She Knows Not What She Does." In that same year, she was on the wildly popular show "The Tribe," in which many recent Ranger actors are from. In this, she played "Kandy" in three episodes.
Later that year, she scored perhaps the best role to date- "Tori Hanson" (originally Tori Carrington), the Blue Wind Ranger on the 2003 incarnation "Power Rangers Ninja Storm."
She was most recently seen as "Charity Foster" in the domestic telefilm "Murder in Greenwich, the Martha Moxley Story". She has also played guest roles in the hit UK series "The Tribe" and in "Disney's Atlantis High". Her additional television credits include UK's "Revelations - The Initial Journey" and New Zealand's "The Strip".
Sally attended Chilton St. James College in Wellington, where she performed in numerous festivals and productions including the national Sheila Winn Shakespeare Festival, the New Zealand College Theatresports competition and a variety of school plays.
