Act Three
Chapter Eleven: Behemoths Collide
The Rangers rolled on their backs when the next giant footstep was taken. The skies continued to roar like a wild animal. Leo thought he had heard something more, however.

“Guys…” He listened to the roaring again. “Do you hear that?”

“Besides the end of the world?” cracked Blake.

“No listen…Maya, can you hear them?”

She ran next to Leo trying to keep her balance. It took no time for her to realize it as well. “The Galactabeasts?”

“Just like when we first found them,” Kai shouted above the rumbling. “They’re calling us from across space.” “Galaxy Rangers,” Anatari spoke up, “with Mirinoi not far away, my power may be strong enough to open portals to bring them here. If so, we must all board them and use any power left in us to man them without the Morphers.”

“Do it, Anatari.” Leo shouted.

Standing weakly, the gatekeeper thrusted his hands forward as black energy protruded and gathered in a growing portal. He strained every muscle to grow it, and only hoped it was enough. When it almost reached Lothor’s height, Anatari shouted at the top of his lungs, “Galactabeasts, arise!”

Five sets of glowing eyes popped from the shadows of the portal. They emerged, the five surviving Galactabeasts- the Red Ranger’s Lion, the Blue Ranger’s Gorilla, the Green Ranger’s Condor, the Yellow Ranger’s Wolf and the Pink Ranger’s Wildcat. Each the size of the Megaship, the Galactabeasts thudded as they landed on Rashon’s surface.

Anatari then shot a spike of energy at each Galaxy Ranger, teleporting them on top of their respective Galactabeast.

“Whoa!” shouted Leo, trying to keep balance unmorphed. He and his allies held the Transdaggers over their heads. “Zord transform!”

Power spewed from each Transdagger and coated their hard skins. The energies proceeded to morph their organic bodies into technological wonders.

Shane ran up to Anatari, “Tell us, how can we defeat this Lothor?”

“With the Megazord near destruction three-thousand years ago, Lothor’s victory was at hand. And the Quasar Sabers were to signal his reign. What Lothor did not foresee was the magnitude of power the Megazord would gain once joined with the Lights of Orion. I see no other way.”

As the Zords morphed each Ranger teleported inside them into an individual room with a circular console. Leo inserted his Transdagger on top of the console, which began to rotate. He placed his palm over the console to keep the rotation going.

Anatari warned the Rangers. “If we do not board with the Zords, they’ll not have enough power to keep the Megazord together. Prepare for teleportation.” Using what he was convinced was the last of his power, he de-materialized the six into streaks of light and took them to the transforming Zords.

Shane and Hunter were teleported into Leo’s cockpit. He quickly showed them to place their hands over the console so that it would tap into their life energy. Dustin teamed with Damon, Blake with Kai, Tori with Maya and Kendrix with Hunter and Karone.

The Lion forged the chest and head as the Wolf and Wildcat connected as the arms. The Gorilla served as the torso and legs while the Condor attached as the wings. The Galaxy Megazord was back and powered by the life forces of the Ninja Storm and Lost Galaxy Rangers.

One by one, Lothor’s six hands clenched into the metals of the Galaxy Megazord, which was then lifted like a paperweight and drawn in towards Lothor’s scaly face.

“Keep it together!” cried Leo as he, and the others, channeled all their power into the consoles. “We’re almost there!”

The great jaws stretched open passed the height of the Megazord itself. The heat from within was melting the Zord exterior. Even the clothes on the Rangers were beginning to scorch. “Now!” he shouted at the top of his lungs. “Lights of Orion, activate.”

The sudden brightness blinded Lothor as he flailed in all directions. Armor forged onto the Megazord in the form of a large triangular chest plate, a golden crown and an enhanced sword that immediately charged with enough powered lightning to light a world.

The saber sliced across Lothor’s face, spewing gooey blood all over. The dragon screamed maniacally; dropping the Megazord like a rock. A shockwave generated on impact slammed everything on the ground fifty feet back, and the earth rumbled forever.

Lothor looked with his mutilated face at the paralyzed Zord. The evil towered over the mecha and stood with the spirit of worlds fueling his strength. On the ground, Anatari gazed upon this in horror. The Lights should have evaporated Lothor forever. But reality now showed a new truth- Lothor had adapted to its power.

Fire erupted from the dragon’s mouth and hailed onto the Zord. Helpless, the Megazord melted away almost immediately; barely leaving time for the Rangers to evacuate. The eyes of the Megazord slid off the face and meshed in a boiling pile of metal.

It was a heavy drop from the Megazord cockpit without any powers. Upon landing, Dustin broke his collar bone, Hunter fractured his left arm and Damon almost had his ankle torn off. But they had to run, they all had to run. Fire was hunting them down.
