Years ago in the Amazonian jungle, a monster tore through the villages and murdered the parents of young Cole Evans. Cole was taken in by a native tribe and was raised as one of their own. With Cole, there were two artifacts found- a photo with Cole, his parents and part of another man. Also a small red orb with a carving of a lion inside.

Present day, it's time for Cole's ceremony to leave the tribe and experience what the world had to offer. Eventually, his journey led him to the western coast of the United States in Turtlecove, California.

But in Turtlecove, a war had been undergoing for a year. Under the guidance of Taylor, the Wild Force Power Rangers had engaged the Orgs- a race created from the toxic waste of Earth's negligence towards the environment. Along with Max, Danny and Alyssa, Taylor had led a successful campaign against the Orgs, but now their numbers were increasing. And it was increasingly obvious that a fifth Ranger was in order. Their spiritual mentor, Princess Shayla, knew of just the candidate as she observed Cole freeing animals from a laboratory. Cole was forced into the draft immediately.

The guards at the lab, secretely Orgs disguised as humans for three thousand years, felt a momentous occassion upon them. The Master Org had returned to the Nexus; a stronghold accessible only by Orgs.
